Introduction

Daffodil Family has always had a long tradition of Leadership in ICT and Educational Development in Bangladesh since the year 1990. It is running a program of an integrated pathway of academic institutions, dedicated to expanding access to education to an International Standard of Excellence. It operates Daffodil International University (DIU), Daffodil institute of IT (DIIT), Daffodil International College (DIC), Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI), and thus provides services to more than 20,000 students in Bangladesh. In 2009, it initiated another milestone named as Daffodil International School (DIS), first chain school in 64 districts of Bangladesh that strives to create a harmonious balance between academic demands, sporting, cultural activities and community life. Thus the Academies of Daffodil Group, educate young candidates from pre-primary to University. The Group is also developing new schools in Malaysia, Nepal, Dubai, Bahrain, and the UK as a part of the global chain school.

History

Establishment

Famous business Personality Dr. Md. Sabur Khan initiated the activities to establish a Polytechnic Institute  in his home district from 2015. The Polytechnic Institute  started its academic activities in the year 2015. The Polytechnic Institute  was inaugurated by the then District Controller Md. Ismail Hossain.

The Textile Department is   recognized   by Bangladesh Technical Education Board,  and Directorate of Technical Education.

Recognition of GDPM Department

The Garments Design and Pattern Makin Department is   recognized   by Bangladesh Technical Education Board,  and Directorate of Technical Education.

The Computer Department is   recognized   by Bangladesh Technical Education Board,  and Directorate of Technical Education.

BSDI Discipline 

Dress Code

All BSDI college have a unique dress code. No student will be allowed to attend classes if found not attired in the mandatory college uniform. 

College Uniform 

Boys: White shirt, Black pant, black tie with college badge and black shoes.

Girls: White three piece and black salwar with college badge and black shoes.

Admission Procedure 

We provide both Online and On-Campus admission procedure. The admission form can be collected from the college campus. The completed admission form must be returned to the college admission office and students will have to participate in an admission test. Successful candidates have to complete the formalities of admission within a designated period.
